In ihrem Buch „Keine Panik Blondie!“ schreibt Mirja du Mont, die auf einem Ohr taub wurde, folgenden Satz: „Ich bin ganz und gar nicht perfekt und werde es auch, wie wohl alle Menschen, zum Glück nicht werden. Perfektion ist eine Illusion und nicht erstrebenswert.“
